Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Statement

Bright Minds Centre is committed to treating people fairly, respectfully and inclusively across enquiries, assessments, communication and service development.

Last reviewed: June 2026Inclusive practice

Our commitment

We aim to provide an environment where people are treated with dignity regardless of age, disability, neurotype, race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, caring responsibilities, socioeconomic background or communication style.

What this means for service delivery

  • Trying to use clear, respectful and non-stigmatising language
  • Considering reasonable adjustments for communication, access and processing needs
  • Recognising that people may come to assessment from different cultural, developmental and family contexts
  • Reviewing website content and operational processes for fairness and accessibility

Equity in practice

Equity means noticing where one standard route does not work equally well for everyone. Bright Minds Centre aims to consider what support or adaptation may be needed so people can access services more fairly rather than simply treating every situation as identical.

Concerns and feedback

If you believe an adjustment has been missed, or that an aspect of access or communication has been unfair, please raise it using the Contact Us page or the Complaints Policy route.
